Tips for caring for your jewelry. Check the do's & don'ts here

Jewelry is made from different materials, precious metals such as gold, silver & platinum are beautiful materials, but not always accessible to everyone as these materials are also expensive. At Lots of Happiness we believe it is important to deliver quality, but at the same time we also want to offer something for every budget, which is why we choose to work with 925 Sterling Silver, Stainless Steel & DQ metal (+ gold plating). In this way we make beautiful jewelry for a reasonable price.

Many people have a nickel allergy, including me, so I know how annoying the complaints are (itching, rash, thick earlobes, sometimes even wounds). That is why Lots of Happiness guarantees that all jewelry we make is 100% nickel-free .

At Lots of Happiness we use the following materials:

✮ 925 Sterling Silver + Gold plating

✮ Stainless Steel (stainless steel) + Gold plating

✮ DQ metal + Gold plating

✮ Seed beads

✮ Pearls & natural stone

Below you will find the do's & don'ts per material.

You cannot prevent discoloration of jewelry, discoloration occurs due to various processes and external influences, but you can slow it down.

Silver oxidizes, which means it turns black. This is easy to solve by occasionally polishing your jewelry with a silver polishing cloth. ✮ Seed beads

Seed beads are glass beads with a paint coating. This coating is of high quality and can withstand knocks or perspiration, but can wear off after frequent wear.

✮ Pearls and natural stone

Pearls and natural stones can be affected when they come into contact with chemicals. So be careful with make-up, perfume, lotions, hairspray, etc. You can easily clean pearls & natural stones with water.
