In October 2023, I was invited by Flying Solo to participate in the New York Fashion Week catwalk show in February 2024 for the Fall/Winter 2024-2025 collection. I applied, feeling honored but unsure, and in November I was overjoyed to hear I had been selected.
I have been given complete creative freedom for my collection, with no restrictions on color or material. My job is to prepare eight sets for the catwalk. I am in regular contact with New York to put the finishing touches on my collection, which will be released online at the end of the summer. However, I will be sharing sneak peeks on social media soon.

Who is Flying Solo?
This unique concept has gained fame and is regularly mentioned in renowned publications such as Vogue, Elle and The NYTimes.
Twice a year, Flying Solo offers on its catwalk for emerging brands. They provide the catwalk show with professional models including make-up and hair styling and everything is captured by professional photographers and videographers. This creates a unique opportunity for new designers and brands to present themselves. In addition, various fashion magazines and influencers are invited, which ensures sufficient exposure.
How it all started...
In October 2023, I received an invitation by email from Flying Solo to participate in the selection process for a runway show during New York Fashion Week in February 2024, where the fall/winter 2024-2025 collection would be presented. Initially honored but also somewhat uncertain, I decided to take the leap and sign up. In early November, I received the exciting news that I had been selected to participate in Fashion Week in New York! OMG!
With complete freedom to create my own collection, without restrictions on color or material, I immediately began the design process. My only task was to submit eight sets for the runway show. I have been in contact with New York several times and submitted my new collection. You'll have to be patient a little longer, as it is the fall and winter collection, it will only appear in the webshop at the end of summer. But of course, I'll share it with you earlier on social media.

On Wednesday, February 7, I fly to New York, where the following days are entirely dedicated to New York Fashion Week.
The agenda includes designer meetings, day of interviews, a fitting day with models, the day of the runway shows, and of course the afterparty!
